Based on what is stated in the health insurance policy issued by the Insurance Authority regarding cancellation terms, neither the insurance company nor the insured has the right to cancel the health insurance policy after it has been issued, except in the following cases
:Cancellation of health insurance policy for Saudis through the Bcare platform
:Resignation
It is an official document submitted by the employee to the employer, stating their desire to leave work while clearly mentioning the reasons for resignation
You must also provide proof of resignation or termination by printing a document from Social Insurance showing the employee’s status as “inactive” along with the exclusion date
:Death

:Alternative insurance
.Purchasing a new insurance policy covering the remaining period of the policy to be canceled, while providing proof of alternative insurance
.Cancellation of health insurance policy for non-Saudis through the Bcare platform
:Transfer of sponsorship
.Provide proof of sponsorship transfer, in addition to a copy of the new insurance policy
:Steps to inquire about a foreign worker sponsorship transfer request
1- Access the electronic website of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
2- Choose the Electronic Services Portal, then click on Inquiry Services.
3- Choose the inquiry service for an expatriate employee and enter the residency number or border number.
4- Select nationality and enter the verification code.
5- Click Search, and the expatriate worker’s details will appear.
:Death
.The applicant submits the death certificate
:Final exit
.The applicant submits proof of final exit (not the visa)
Final exit status can be checked through the Absher platform of the Ministry of Interior, and proof of final exit can also be issued through the Absher / Muqeem platform for establishments using the residency number and attached with the request.
:Exited and did not return
The applicant provides proof from the Muqeem platform showing that the resident’s status is “Exited and did not return,” and the concerned authority updates the status after the return period to the Kingdom expires

:Adding the IBAN number in the payment page for all products
Based on the requirements of the Insurance Authority, an IBAN number entry field must be added to the payment page for all products. In the health insurance product, two options will be available for the customer when entering the IBAN number:
1- Establishment IBAN
2- Establishment owner’s IBAN
:Mechanism for canceling the health insurance policy according to the insurance company
We would like to clarify that regarding Tree Insurance, adding or deleting one member is done directly through the insurance company, while canceling the entire insurance policy is done through the Bcare website.

1- Copy of the commercial registration
2- Copy of the alternative insurance policy (if available)
3- Copy of the sponsor’s ID
4- Mobile number
5- Insurance company name
6- Copy of the IBAN linked to the policy through which the purchase was made, so the refund can be returned to the same account
7- A letter addressed to the insurance company explaining the request and the reason, including today’s date, stamp, and signature
